    100 days, 100 drawings. These 4” x 4” ink sketches are depictions of folks sporting steampunk-inspired eyewear. In this age that is going increasingIy digital, so many questions remain. Is it the past? is it the future? is it virtual reality?

  • Self-sustainability

    100 days, 100 paintings. Each 4” x 4” acrylic work represents things that grow wild in Nova Scotia. They are left untended, and yet they find a way to survive - thrive, really! These paintings were exhibited on June 17, 2023.

  • Nova Scotia's dark skies

    These acrylic paintings depict the creatures that roam our skies in the form of constellations. The Acadian Skies & Mi'kmaq Lands is the first destination in North America to receive a Starlight certification by the Starlight Foundation.

  • Hearts

    An experiment with cardboard, papier-mâché and a mix of acrylic paint, pastel and markers, this series of three-dimensional works depicts the uniqueness of each heart while also underlining its common anatomical shape.

  • Pen, ink & watercolour

    It starts with a sketch, which is made permanent with pen strokes and then brought to life with watercolour pencils and paints. These pieces are often elements that I’ve seen in nature; they’re an ode to my surroundings in my adopted home of Nova Scotia.

  • Textiles

    There is something whimsical, powerful, even political, about displaying cultural images, words and phrases in one’s home. I manipulate all my original designs on the computer screen until they please me, then I transfer them onto something tangible.
